Industry-Standard 10 BBL Capacity for North American & International Markets
The 10 BBL barrel format is one of the most widely adopted production volumes in craft and microbrewery operations across North America, Europe, and Australia. This tank is purpose-built to that scale, ensuring direct compatibility with 10 BBL brewhouse systems, keg output targets, and established retail distribution requirements without requiring output recalculation.
60° Conical Bottom for Efficient Yeast Harvesting and Trub Removal
The 60° cone angle drives complete gravitational yeast sedimentation toward the discharge port, enabling clean and controlled harvesting after each fermentation cycle. This supports reliable yeast reuse, reduces batch-to-batch variation, and lowers raw material input costs for commercial brewing operations running multiple cycles per week.
Full-Column Glycol Dimple Plate Jacket — Cone and Sidewall Coverage
Glycol cooling is applied through a dimple plate jacket covering both the conical base and the cylindrical sidewall, delivering uniform temperature distribution across the full liquid column. This eliminates thermal stratification at the 10 BBL scale and enables the precise fermentation temperature management required for producing consistent commercial ale and lager profiles.
360° CIP Rotating Spray Ball — In-Place Cleaning, No Disassembly
The TC-connected CIP arm fitted with a 360° rotating spray ball reaches the complete internal surface area including the dome, manhole region, sidewall, and cone during cleaning cycles. This allows commercial breweries to clean the 10 BBL vessel in place between batches without manual tank entry or disassembly, reducing cleaning downtime and maintaining sanitary compliance.
100% TIG Welded, Ra ≤ 0.6 μm Sanitary Interior Polish
All welds are executed under pure argon gas shielding and inspected before finishing. The interior surface is polished to Ra ≤ 0.6 μm with no dead corners, meeting the food-grade sanitary requirements applicable to commercial beer fermentation. The Pickled and Passivated finish provides long-term corrosion resistance for the SUS304 stainless steel shell.
Factory Pressure Tested, Documented, and Commissioned Before Delivery
Every unit undergoes a full factory quality verification sequence: jacket water and gas leak testing at 30 psi for 1 hour and 3.6 bar / 37.5 psi for 40 hours, interior polish verification, and complete system commissioning. All test records are documented and delivered with the tank as part of ZR BREW’s standard quality assurance package. All valves and fittings are included in the delivery scope.
