Engineered For Precision And Durability

  • Our malt mills utilize specially hardened steel rollers to ensure a consistent crush and a long operational lifespan without dulling.

  • CIP systems feature anti-splash lids and safe chemical dosing ports. Grain handling systems are designed to mitigate explosive dust hazards.

  • RO systems feature high recovery rates, and CIP systems are designed to recapture and reuse cleaning chemicals, lowering utility costs.

  • CIP skids are equipped with oversized sanitary pumps to ensure cleaning solutions hit tank walls with enough mechanical force to strip soils.

  • Caustic tanks feature built-in electric or steam heating elements to maintain the optimal cleaning temperature (60-70°C) during circulation.

  • All malt mills come standard with strong magnetic grates in the hopper to catch tramp metal and protect the rollers from damage.

Support Equipment Selection Guide

  • Do I need a 2-roll or a 4-roll malt mill?

For most craft breweries (up to 20BBL), a high-quality 2-roll mill is perfectly sufficient and cost-effective. A 4-roll mill provides a slightly more precise crush by separating the husk and then crushing the endosperm, which is beneficial for very large production breweries looking to squeeze out every fraction of a percent of extract efficiency.

  • How do I size a glycol chiller for my brewery?

Chiller sizing is complex. It depends on the total volume of your fermentation tanks, your target crash-cooling time, and the ambient temperature of your facility. Our engineers will calculate the exact BTU/hr (or kW) heat load required and recommend the perfectly sized chiller for your specific setup.

  • Is a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system absolutely necessary?

It depends on your local municipal water. If your city water is extremely hard, has high alkalinity, or fluctuates seasonally, an RO system is the only way to guarantee consistency. It strips the water down to nothing, allowing you to add brewing salts back in to match historic water profiles.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why should I buy a dedicated CIP skid instead of just using a portable pump?

  • Are your electrical control panels UL or CE certified?

  • Can the hop gun be used for ingredients other than hops?
